03/06 – 11/10  Managing editor of business-to-business legal industry publications responsible for editorial projects while serving as web editor and writing a full complement of stories for print and online media. 

                        • Developed and maintained business relationships with attorneys who contribute articles for publication in the Law Tribune and GC New England

                        • Wrote and edited stories focused on various aspects of the legal profession, such as law firm business, and coordinate assignments with freelance photographers and writers

                        • Managed production of each quarterly issue of GC New England magazine

7/00 – 12/02    National Football League production assistant for Emmy Award-winning team assigned to Sunday Night NFL and NFL Draft telecasts.

 

08/97 – 7/00    Sports reporter for the Daily News Journal of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and, starting in November 1999, the Associated Press. Also wrote stories as a Tennessee-based high school correspondent for national high school sports news site iHigh.com in 1998 and 1999. Led WAPB 810 AM’s coverage of Middle Tennessee State baseball as the station’s play-by-play announcer while producing pre- and post-game shows as well as a weekly coach’s show.

AWARDS AND EDUCATION

Won various reporting awards from professional journalist societies in Tennessee and Connecticut. Earned Emmy Award for “Best Live Series” in 2000 with Sunday Night NFL. Graduated with B.S. in Electronic Media Journalism, minor in English, from Middle Tennessee State University, 1998.
